Another no-nonsense three-tracker outta northern-Europe from one of the continents’ best-kept production secrets - Abbeloos Olivier (he of C-Mos ‘Calling All Cars’ fame). The minimal techy ‘Locombo’ seems to be gaining most props with the likes of Lottie recently Powerplaying it on Radio 1 – full-on funky house reminiscent in parts of early recordings from X-press 2, not least thanks to some quirky gibberish atop the beats. Personally I’m down with the Judge who’s right behind ‘As We Phonk!’ – an uncomplicated terrific chunky disco sampler (BB&Q Band anyone?).
